Insurance Policies and ProceduresMurdoch University Internal InsuranceThe Office of Finance, Planning & Reporting will now be handling internal insurance claims for content property related losses, thefts or damage up to the value of $10,000.00. Anything above this value may be covered by our Insurer. Ideally the Internal Claims Process will run similarly to that of a normal insurance company. Claim form, incident reports, police reports, proof of ownership etc. All items lost or stolen MUST be recorded with either the Security Department or if the incident is not related to Murdoch University (external), then the incident MUST be reported to a police station. Excess/DeductibleThere is an excess/deductible to each claim made of $2,500.00. What is covered?All real and personal property (except as excluded) belonging to Murdoch University or for which the University is responsible or has assumed responsibility prior to the occurrence of any loss or destruction or damage, including all such property in which the university may acquire an insurable interest during the current financial year. What Exclusions Apply? (No Cover)
