Segment Definition

The Faculty/Division segment holds the identifying values for the first summary level of the financial organisational structure where there is a management imperative to aggregate and report revenues and expenses.

Segment Rationale

The purpose of the Faculty/Division segment is to capture financial information at the relevant summary level that fits in with the financial organisational structure of the University. The Faculty/Division segment allows separate summary Faculty/Division reports to be produced. A Faculty/Division represents the first level of the cost centre sitting under an Entity component.
