Different components of the account code are validated against to ensure the integrity of the Chart of Accounts.

  • Entity & Faculty codes are validated against each other
  • Cost Centre Faculty, School, and Department are validated against each other
  • Department & Project codes are validated against each other

An account will be valid if it satisfies all the validations shown above as well as the individual component. This enables you to determine the at Data Entry if the account components are correct rather than at the time of posting.
